Unless you think using lightning golem over ice would be better and use a ice skill to trigger equilibrium. But elemental equilibrium would dumb down his damage anyways. I wouldnt use him cause for one he's melee so his damage isn't as effective as flame and he's lightning, I'll be using storm burst with elemental equilibrium. I was gonna do 7 but I think running a shield with necro aegis is better then an extra golem(clayshaper).īy lightning and melee I mean the lightning golem. So I'll be getting 20% dmg to golems per type plus the 100% dmg to golems per type with my 5 harmonies. Not really sure what you mean by lightning and melee. If you're Necromancer, I guess it might be better to slot just enough Primordial Jewels to make mapping feel comfortable with pure Flame Golems (skipping the other types), and devoting the rest of your resources into spiking up your single-target damage with 4 or 5 Spectres. You probably won't have enough generic minion damage to warrant supporting two different minion types. In that case, if you're Elementalist don't bother with spectres. I'll assume you're just going for some vaguely ideal level of DPS.

The answer is different depending on your Ascendancy and other details. It's kind of hard to answer that without knowing what you're aiming to do. So I would hesitate to label them "special" at this point.Īs for what's better. And they were never considered great for clearing/mapping. At one time, they were once considered the best minion for single-target DPS, but other minion types have caught up or even exceeded them in that aspect as of 3.3. Nowadays, they're more or less in-line with other spectres in terms of power level.
#Poe raise spectre tukohama vanguard Patch
GGG wasn't quite comfortable with that level of power though and nerfed them in the next patch as well as one of their build-enabling uniques, Tukohama's Fortress (iirc). They also packed quite a punch in patch 3.0, noticeably more than other popular spectres up to that point. They have some synergy with Flame Golems, since their attack is similar to Scorching Ray in that it reduces fire resistance.
